just bounce your PT session out to to a wav. import wav into logic build drum
track in logic, or whatever other midi tracks you want to do there, bounce
individual tracks out of logic and reimport them into the original PT session.
If you just want to trigger midi and record the audio You can use MainStage
which has a lot of the logic sounds and instrument in a more performance
friendly package, Using SoundFlower or Loopback you can route the audio from
MainStage into Pro Tools and just record the performance onto an audio track in
PT. The downside to doing it this way instead of using logic is that you won’t
be recording any of the midi data so you will have to replay parts if they
aren’t exactly how you want them instead of just editing the midi data after
the fact. You can also route Logic’s output into Pro Tools using sound flower
or Loop back as well, but if you aren’t gonna record the midi data save
yourself the money and use MainStage.
