Hello all, I am working on tracking some vocal parts this morning, and I wanted to add some verb that I could hear in my ears. Apparently, what I am doing is not working. I will try to describe what I did. Maybe I am missing something.
1. I interacted with the track that I am recording my vocals on. I then interacted with the sends, and chose send assignment A and then new track. 2. I created the aux track, and did a solo safe on that aux track. 3. I then put the verb plug on that track, and went back to my vocal track’s send and made sure that the send level was turned up. All of the outputs for the tracks were going to my master fader, but when I tried testing after doing all of this, I still did not hear any verb in my ears. I am just using a simple audio interface and no other outboard gear. Am I missing something? I have done this in the past, and from what I remember it did work, but I have taken a break for quite a while from audio production, and am just getting back in to pro tools.
