I'm using a focus rite 2i4 which I've had for a couple of years with no issues. Now, I'm not using all the extra things you get with it such as the mix control ap and the focus rite suite of plugins. So, If, like me, you're wanting to use it for great audio, mic pres are excellent as are the instrument inputs for recording my guitars and it has MIDI onboard, all of which works great with tools, then I'd say go for it.
