Hi, in Sonar there were two volume controls on each track: a volume and a trim. The trim was very useful because it meant that I could make volume automation changes, but still have the ability to change the overall volume of that track with the trim control. The only way I can think to achieve this in ProTools is to add the track to a bus and then create a secondary volume option that way, but this seems a little finicky. The other option would be to apply automation again. Any ideas on this one?
My final question is about deleting automation on a bus. Is it possible to do? I’ve automated a bus with reverb on, and in the main it sounds great, except one tiny bit that I’d like to adjust.
