Thanks Slau, I will give it a go. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Slau Halatyn Sent: Sunday, May 17, 2015 10:14 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Another question about selecting tracks
Yep, You should consider the following: If you've hidden all tracks and have shown new tracks which happen to not coincide with the previously shown and selected tracks, you will not have any track insertion within the Edit window. Therefore, Command-a will not select tracks because there's no insertion point within the timeline. In other words, Command-a will not select anything in the timeline and thus none of the newly shown tracks will be selected. Only the previously selected tracks will remain selected but not shown. The solution is to either scrub shuttle or fast forward or rewind (providing you have insertion follows scrub/shuttle selected) and an insertion point will automatically be created within the topmost track. You only need to scrub or shuttle momentarily and the insertion is immediately created. Now, pressing Command-a will select all of the shown tracks in addition to the entire range of the currently displayed timeline and its resident regions.
