There are a few options in the Memory Locations window that are persistent across sessions and it's worth mentioning, especially if you've ever had the occasion to change any of the settings. Their persistence can work against you if you're not careful.
For example, there's an option to associate the showing and hiding of tracks to a memory location. If you were to check this box, the next memory location you create will still have that option checked. You may or may not want this to be the case. If you uncheck it, the next location you create will be unchecked by default. If you choose to use the selection radio button rather than an absolute marker, that will not be persistent but, if you call up a memory location that has a selection rather than a marker, your track selection will change and your edits might affect tracks in an unexpected way. It's just something of which folks should be aware, especially when using markers for editing. I never use markers for editing because I rarely encounter a situation where I feel it's necessary. Just thought I'd give a heads up, just in case. Slau -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group.
