Hi Brian,

One thing you should make sure of is that there are no other windows open in 
both Pro Tools and the Finder. Bring up the Window Chooser with 
Control-Option-f2-f2 and close everything apart from the Mix and Edit windows. 
Also, bring up the Application Chooser with Control-Option-f1-f1 to make sure 
there are no notifications open. If there are any notifications or other 
windows open while you're trying to click with the mouse pointer in Pro Tools, 
you're almost guaranteed to be unsuccessful in your attempt. It's like a 
sighted person trying to click on something that's beneath a front-most window 
and they're trying to access something that's behind it. As a VoiceOver user, 
you're seeing what's behind the topmost window and, when you click, you're 
actually not clicking on what you think you're clicking on. My guess is that 
this is what's happening to you. Let us know how it goes.
