Hi, I am having to make a remix of a song we did in class. I was given a drum loop that I need to trim the end as there is quietness at the end I need to clean up so when I use loop playback and have the clip selected the drum loop plays purfectly. What is the easiest way to remove no sound at the end of the loop once shift and tab are used to select it as using normal down and up errow I am not purfectly aligned? Then the directions tell me to use the trimmer tool in TCE mode so the end of the loop aligns exactly with the 2 measures of the songs grids the loop is in time with the rest of the song. The drum loop is on it's own track as one clip. AFTER this I again need to use the trimmer to extend the loop to the end of the song. After this I have to slide the loop to match the bass drum the directions say to vision but my instructor told me to try to do this step with the keyboard is this even possible? Is changing and programming in the tempo something I am going to be able to do accessible as well as speeding up the song after changing the tracks from sample to tick based which I can do as I know which button that is in the track. We did not get the loops for this project until today and the project should be finished by Thurseday I did look over all of the Pro Tools with speech tutorials but in version 12 things look different then they did in 10 so this is why am posting these questions as I would like to get this project done so I can turn it in.
