Did you add the users (microsoft) on the linux machine. smbpasswd -a user if i rem. correctly
I'm a new user with a little 3 station home network with 2 MS machines and one Linux. The network runs through an SMC firewall/hub connected to Comcast Broadband. I've setup SMB and can see/read/write files on the MS machines from Linux. I can't, however, get the $!%# MS machines to map to the Linux machine. I've spent 3 days looking at SMB Docs (RTFM) and can't find a sensible set of steps to perform to make this work. I know I've overlooked something. Any help would be appreciated.
