ok.. This really isn't redhat 8 specific, but I've been tearing my hear
out.

I have a linux box with 2 ethernet cards acting as a firewall/NAT at
home.

I would like to be able to use works VPN from a machine behind the NAT,
unfortunately work uses PPTP. I can get this going directly on the
machine set up as the firewall,

but the firewall seems to discard/reject the GRE packets and not forward
them through if I try to connect from a NAT'd ip behind it.

The really sad thing is that If I use Win2K as my firewall/nat the GRE
packets pass happily through.

how do I get the firewall to pass the GRE packets???

TIA
Ian
