Jason, I am using Osbourne Certicification Press' "RHCE Linux Study Guide", ISBN 0-07-222485-1, copyright 2002, to study for the exam myself. It is up to date and uses RedHat 8.0 .
Seems to be fairly comprehensive and includes a CD-ROM with exam questions and lab examples for the all important skills test. Would love to know what RHCE grads think of the book. Hope this helps.
