Seeing as I was involved in the decision of Red Hat to not ship the mp3
decoding bits, figured that I would respond.  Please understand, just as
posted on our site at https://www.redhat.com/advice/speaks_80mm.html, it
wasn't like we just decided that no one played mp3s.  There are patent
licensing issues, as well as conflicts between patent license code and our
code which made it obvious that we weren't going to be able to ship the mp3
decoding bits.  So we removed them in order to avoid further trouble.
