There is *NOTHING WRONG* with what RedHat is doing here. 

*THE PROBLEM* is with ignorant jerks like you who don't have a clue and 
whining that RedHat broke something when the truth of the matter is that 
the problem is the obsolete/older software packages they are running 
that doesn't support UTF-8.

In a few months you won't be even seeing these complaints as newer 
versions of the problem software are released that will support UTF-8.
