No.

However, I noticed that the plugin works if I run Mozilla as root. It doesn't work as regular user.

Hmm... several possibilties:
Did you have CrossOver Plugin wine + Windows Flash plugin installed by chance?

Have you installed any Flash plugins into ~/.mozilla/plugins?

If you create a new user and try Mozilla, does Flash work?

Is this the standard mozilla-1.0.1 from Red Hat?
