I downloaded Adobe Acrobat Reader from adobe's site. Version 5.0.6 It doesnt work. I get the following error message.
./acroread Warning: charset "UTF-8" not supported, using "ISO8859-1". Aborted So I dug out hte old version 4 copy that used to work on RH7.1 doesn't work as well but I get different error massage. ./acroread: /usr/local/Acrobat4/Reader/intellinux/bin/acroread: /lib/ld-linux.so.1: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory ./acroread: line 364: /usr/local/Acrobat4/Reader/intellinux/bin/acroread: Success I checked and I have no ld-linux.so.1 only ld-linux.so.2 could this be the same problem with Acrobat 5?
