If you have the original UT2K3 CD (Three (3) CD's). Copy the Linux installer to the HDD. And run the install from there. Make sure you leave this CD (CD#3) in the drive. The installer will automatically ask for the other cd's when required.
Been there done that and no change... Still hangs system
