I'm having trouble with a Xircom CBEN56G-100 Ethernet/Modem card (eth1). I think the card is initially being recognized as a wireless card at startup. When I actually log in (under X), the card works fine and when I look at its properties it is listed as an Ethernet device. I do have the xircom_cb module loaded. This wouldn't be that big of a deal, but I mount several drives and they don't get mounted because (I believe) of the card not being recognized correctly. I then have to mount these all individually. I get the following errors at bootup :

Nov 8 14:47:08 samwise ifup: Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8B2A) :
Nov 8 14:47:08 samwise ifup: SET failed on device eth1 ; No such device.
Nov 8 14:47:12 samwise autofs: automount startup succeeded
Nov 8 14:47:08 samwise ifup: Error for wireless request "Set ESSID" (8B1A) :
Nov 8 14:47:08 samwise ifup: SET failed on device eth1 ; No such device.
Nov 8 14:47:08 samwise ifup: SIOCGIFFLAGS: No such device
Nov 8 14:47:08 samwise ifup: Failed to bring up eth1.
Nov 8 14:47:08 samwise network: Bringing up interface eth1: failed

Below is a listing of my network and ifcfg-eth1 files. Are there any more I should be looking at:
(BTW, I've have X'ed some of the Gateway and IP info.)

Here is the contents of /etc/sysconfig/network:
NETWORKING=yes
HOSTNAME=samwise
GATEWAY="151.190.XXX.XXX"
GATEWAYDEV="eth1"
FORWARD_IPV4="yes"
IPX="no"
IPXINTERNALNETNUM="0"
IPXINTERNALNODENUM="0"
IPXAUTOPRIMARY="on"
IPXAUTOFRAME="on"

Finally, Here is the contents of /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth1 file:
DEVICE=eth1
BOOTPROTO=none
ONBOOT=yes
USERCTL=no
PEERDNS=no
TYPE=Ethernet
IPADDR=151.190.XXX.XXX
NETMASK=255.255.0.0
GATEWAY=151.190.XXX.XXX
NETWORK=151.190.0.0
BROADCAST=151.190.255.255
IPXPRIMARY_802_2="no"
IPXACTIVE_802_2="no"
IPXPRIMARY_802_3="no"
IPXACTIVE_802_3="no"
IPXPRIMARY_ETHERII="no"
IPXACTIVE_ETHERII="no"
IPXPRIMARY_SNAP="no"
IPXACTIVE_SNAP="no"

Any help would be appreciated,
Derrick Briscoe
