Better than that, get the new XMMS docklet... err.. "panel notification icon" or whatever the politically correct term for that is. ;) It's 10x better than the xmms-gnome package, and it even works with KDE 3! Definitely a must-have... get it here: http://www.hellion.org.uk/xmms-status-plugin/index.html Also, it's a prerelease, so be sure to let the author know how it works/doesn't work for you! - jck
