OK, again, it seems, that I didn't explain correctly what I'm looking for, sorry.
Actually I'm looking for a realtime mirroring solution. I have 2 PC, one is my PDC (Samba) and the other one should be my backup system (Is there a BDP solution in Samba implemented like in windows ? I don't think so!). For this the files on PC1 shall be mirrored to PC2 in realtime. Whenever PC1 fails, I have ascript, that will enable smb on PC2, chenges his IP adress and the time out will be very short. We currently have no money for an expensive prof. solution. Cheers, Duncan
