True Type fonts - ttmkfdir

Hi,

Running Redhat 8.0.
Trying to enable true type font support.

Copied all C:\winnt\Fonts\*.ttf to Linux, and executed
the following command aborted:

ttmkfdir > fonts.dir
Aborted

Any ideas.
