hi, trying to install opera-6.03*static results in a dependency-problem asking for libXm.so.2; now I was looking for openmotif and heave discovered an installed openmotif-2.2.2-12 which is on the rh8-CD. therefore I have an installed libXm.so.3 - now my question : is libXm.so.3 providing the libXm.so.2 stuff or do I have to install the previous openmotif-2.1* also ?
If the openmotif-2.2.2-12 does providing the libXm.so.2stuff - how can I get it running ? Do I have to make a link, so that libXm.so.3 "link"s also to libXm.so.2 or which possibilities I do have here ? any suggestions or solutions here ? thanks for helpings and ideas bye hans
