Hi, I do have a Dell Latitude with Maestro 3 sound card, that's what lspci tells me. sndconfig recognizes it but hangs when playing the test sound. Also a cat /dev/dsp results in "chip lockup" messages. No sound.
Worked perfectly under 7.3 which was upgraded to 8.0. Hints anyone? Bernd
