Gee, that was bright of me.... I get a password prompt, input the password, then the little wheel will spin forever if left alone. If I put in the wrong password it will prompt me again.> I'm pretty new to linux. Did a clean install of 8 and I like it better > than 7 except for one thing: I can't get Konqueror to browse my network > using smb://machine/share.What exactly is the error message you get? It works fine for me in both konqueror and nautilus.
