THIS is interesting. Adding the connecting host to /etc/hosts fixed the problem on 217.67.231.219. But on my local box here, which has a working DNS setup the same problem persists. So it's not that 217.67.231.219 has no reverse dns yet as my box here has a working one. Buggy resolver library maybe? bye, andreas
