All through the beta testing, and I think even with RH7.3 and now in Psyche, when a KMail message exceeds one printed page, the last line or two on the page is lost. I presume this is due to an error in page length or bottom margin specification somewhere. I have posted about it before and looked everywhere for a parameter to change with no avail.

I'm using CUPS and an HP Deskjet 970c printer. Both KMail and the printer driver are set to US Letter.

You could fiddle with the 'imageablearea' numbers in the PPD in
/etc/cups/ppd. Foomatic-generated PPD files assume full-bleed, which
is usually incorrect.

I tried that to no avail. I changed

*ImageableArea Letter/Letter: "0 0 612 792"

to

*ImageableArea Letter/Letter: "18 18 576 734"

and restarted CUPS and the printout looked identical. I did this for both the cdj970 and hpijs drivers.

Any other ideas, or did I not do the change correctly?
