Well, since if you have a very complicated home you _already_ have an usability problem... using your home as the desktop is also an excellent visual incentive for order :) ~/Documents ~/Downloads ~/cvs Will already clear a lot of clutter (that and dot files and backup files not being shown by default). So, it is yet another positive aspect! BTW, I'm talking about a default value, which is something specially directed to first comers...
