It's interesting to see that only 4 of the 8 ethernet conductors are used by this NIC. The RJ-45 connector on the adapter only has 4 conductors wired. That means the other 4 wires in an ethernet cable are useless with this NIC. I'm not sure of that's par for the course.
I'll install it this weekend and report on compatibility. It should be just fine.
