You kow, I'm having a very frustrating time with it, but I
*completely* agree with this philosophy. I think that someone has
to attempt to domineer, somewhat, over the dizzying and confusing
range of choices the new user has. It's been wonderful for power
users, but for someone that just wants to write a letter or send
email - it's frustrating. It's debatable whether they'll succeed - but
they certainly have my support.
However, there needs to be the equivalent of the "meta"
menu that sawfish has - so I can switch to "advanced user" setting.
What I've found is that some mission critical GUI problems are
literally un-fixable, and/or undocumented, which is *very*
frustrating. I applaud their motives, but please don't be like
"Lindows" and make the power user suffer. I still have yet to hear
from anyone who's been able to tell me how to deactivate Alt-LMB
on the desktop so that our app can use it.

        Cheers
        J.C.
