# # By the way...what is this MP3 thiing??? is rh not supporting this # formats??? thanks This is covered in the release notes. Basically, it's illegal for Red Hat to sell an os that has mp3 technology in it, without paying a fee to Thompson et-al. Since Red Hat keeps the download and boxed set OS's the same, they pulled it from the downloadable version as well. The extra "fee" for selling the mp3 technology breaks GPL licensing, and this is yet another thing that Red Hat did not want to do. You can still download various media players that support mp3. Beware that even though they say they are GPL licensed, they cannot be. Mp3 copyrights/patents are incompatible with the GPL software license. -- Jesse Keating j2Solutions.net Mondo DevTeam (www.mondorescue.org) Was I helpful?
