Hi,

I've installed Psyche on a couple of Dell Desktops, a Dimension 8100 and
an Optiplex GX260 with a radeon 7500 graphics card instead of the onboard
graphics. There were no problems with the installations and the systems
appear fine, so far ;-))

I've been trying to install it on a Dell Latitude C600 and have run into a
problem

System:
  Dell Latitude C600
  RAM 256MB
ATI Rage 128 Mobility graphics card 8Mb video RAM.

I'm doing an NFS install from the same sources that worked for the other
systems and using the PCMCIA bootdisks.

Everything goes OK until it boots anaconda. It probes the hardware, finds
the video card and a generic 3-button mouse but fails to probe the
monitor, which is the 14in LCD screen.

It then brings up the "Type of installation" screen. The unusual thing
here is that the upgrade option does not appear on the screen and neither
does any scrollbar. If I select any of the installation options the
system just hangs and I have to reboot.

Doing a text install works OK.

It's not a major problem but I have to do several laptop installs over the
next few days on various Dell laptops, mainly for students.

Anybody got any ideas!!!!
