The open source pptp-client / pptp-linux homepage is
http://pptpclient.sourceforge.net/ (yes they have rpms there). I use the
source rpm to roll my own rpm.

PPTP / VPN is also used for basic internet connectivity on campuses both in
Europe and the US (and probably elsewhere to). So this is not only an xDSL
issue.

Well, I for one would like the pptp-linux package in the distro. Maybe RH
will consider it i the future ...
