dear all, i've been getting this error message when recompiling my kernel. i've never seen it before in either 7.1, .2 or .3 and i was wondering whether anyone could shed some light as to what is going on.
a search on google and a few other mailing lists proved less than helpful so i'm hoping some of the gurus out there can help. the process i have been using to recompile and build my kernel is as follows: cd /usr/src/linuxkernelversion make xconfig make clean make dep make bzImage make modules make modules_install cp bzImage /boot/vmlinuzwhatever edit grub.conf reboot looking forward to your replies. regards, andrew choong.
