The gnome menu editor didn't make it in the release. Hopefully they will provide it through the RHN soon.

How do you go about editing the panel menu in gnome? I was digging through some of the gnome lists and came across several mentions of being able to right-click and remove/edit menu items--However in RH8, it appears that this functionality has either been disabled somehow, or was not included in this build of gnome. Any ideas how to get it back? Also, I would like to be able to edit the top-level menu items, but I cannot quite figure out how it is supposed to work. Is there a better way to do this than modifying the /etc/X11/desktop_menu/applications.menu file and the individual .desktop files for each menu item? So far the only alternative I have found suggested is to use KDE... Levi -- Psyche-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/psyche-list
