On the subject of translations, I've been concerned for a while about the "Nick" and "Blurb" arguments to g_param_spec_* functions. For completeness, these ought to be translated, however no user of PSPP is ever going to see them. For example "How many things can be selected". They exist only for the benefit of people using Glade to create or modify dialog boxes. So I think it's a waste of translators time including these in the pspp.pot file.
Unless anyone has a better proposal, I suggest that we start a "pspp-dev" translation domain to hold these strings. Translators need only translate this domain if they are extremely bored.
