In 2.5.0 we were using google/protobuf/stubs/strutil.h functions in a service implementation. It looks like in Ubuntu 15.10 (2.6.1) this header file is not installed, but it is in the v2.6.1 github protobuf repo (But the symbols do exist in libprotobuf). What is the status of these APIs? Are they public and just missing from the Ubuntu package or are they not public?
