Jeff Compile (sic) the design and open the Navigator panel. Select the flattened hierarchy and type the designator you need, you can zoom/mask whatever you need. You could also do Edit/Find and type the designator then look in the messages panel if there are multiple matches
Hope that helps Rich -----Original Message----- From: Jeff Condit [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 17 April 2004 19:22 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [PEDA] Finding Particular RefDes in Multisheet Schematic OK, I'm new to DXP 2004 so please go easy. How do you quickly find a particular RefDes (such as RN502B) in a 50 sheet hierarchical schematic in DXP 2004? Find Similar Objects with Component Designator set to RN502B/Same didn't seem to do the trick, and Tools->Find Component only seems to search the libraries with no provision for RefDes. Any help would be appreciated.
