Mr Potjewijd in a subsequent post noted that "Update Free Primitives" does work, but then he added that this was required with every Update from Schematic. Again, I don't think that is true.
.... and he is right. I stand (actually, 'm sitting..;) corrected.
There has been a mixup on my part: the "Update Free Primitives" needed te be done again after an update _from the PCB library editor_ (which is quite logical, come to think of it).
In the initial stages of the PCB design (component placement with pin/gate swaps, fine-tuning of board size and hence antenna size/footprint) the processes got somewhat mixed up....
