i am aware of this problem but don't think it was the cause in our case
firstly, is the 64K limit true for WIN2K?
anyway our ini file was small and there were not a lot of recent files
maybe this is a case where it really would have been better to put this
stuff in the registry since WIN2K seems to guard that pretty well
