Steve, I'm not sure what the GUI looks like. Another designer had mentioned a Spectra "add on" to me and I was interested in looking at it. My particular needs are paired signals and equal lengths. Short of programming every requirement in Spectra, pairs cant be done easily.
Your comments about jumping into 98.......I had no problems jumping into 98, I was productive right away. I also had little or no problems jumping into 99SE . Versions 3 x and 99 were unusable. There is a pattern here, every other release is unusable.
