Hi Julius - thanks for replying!

Yes, I'm using the latest 47.3.0 version of kube-prometheus-stack.

This appears to ship a set of Prometheus rules which includes KubeJobFailed:

https://github.com/prometheus-community/helm-charts/blob/main/charts/kube-prometheus-stack/templates/prometheus/rules-1.14/kubernetes-apps.yaml#L404C24-L428

The severity of the alert is set to "warning" but I want to override that
severity and set it to "info" by adding a configuration in the top-level
values.yaml, maybe under the alertmanagerSpec: section.

However I searched everywhere and couldn't find a method of modifying just
the severity level of a named alert without changing any other parameters.

While the example here is KubeJobFailed this could apply to any alert we
need to override.

Dave
