Currently, the JMX Exporter still maintains Java 6 support. There are features on the roadmap, such as exposing metrics via HTTPS (SSL) that would be substantially easier by dropping Java 6. Additionally, the Java 6 version of the exporter requires an unsupported SnakeYAML version that has known CVEs.
I'm trying to understand the impact of removing Java 6 support. Is anyone actually still using the Java 6 exporter version(s)? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Prometheus Users" group.
