Well, how about that. I took some time to make a test. 
Put a form together with the RichText control on it.
Created the cursor needed ( testing purposes I hardcoded things )

   CREATE CURSOR rtftest (rtfobject g)
   APPEND BLANK 
   STRTOFILE(THISFORM.olecontrol1.object.TextRTF, "c:\temp\test.rtf",0)
   APPEND GENERAL rtfobject FROM "C:\TEMP\TEST.RTF" CLASS
"RICHTEXT.RICHTEXTCTRL.1"
   REPORT FORM rtftest TO PRINTER PROMPT NOCONSOLE PREVIEW

Then put together the FRX needed. Added the olecontrol, selected General
field name, and set the controlsource to the rtfobject
