Graham,

Took your code, added a WAIT WINDOW after it. Added CONFIG.FPW with these
lines   
   resource=off   
   title=IE Test   
   talk=off   
   safety=off   

compiled to an exe, I see text appear.

Windows 7 Profession N with Service Pack 1. Just installed the latest
patches today.
