The economy will adjust. Prices should fall by an amount equal to the loss
in taxes. Employment will go up. But the effects will not be immediate.

The military can give up their expensive toys, stop putting troops in to
Germany, Japan or any place where there is no conflict. Schools are a
horrible boondoggle. We spend more money per pupil than any country in the
world and our kids are dumber. The graft going on in schools nationwide is
huge. The public unions have negotiated pensions so far out of proportion
that states are left with unfunded pension rights of 2 or 3 trillion. That
will have to come to an end either by firing school teachers or removing the
pension plans.

For social security, the average American has put in around $104,000 over a
lifetime but the government guarantees all retirees a little over $500,000
payout. This is unsustainable whether you like it or not.

With lower prices and high employment, we can raise taxes on individuals to
compensate. This will not change one's standard of living. It will make
people aware of just where their money goes and they can make an informed
decision as to what to allow the government to do. Right now half the
Americans pay no income tax whatsoever so they kick and scream when they
think their entitlements are going be reduced. They always say tax the rich.
I say tax everybody a little and tell them to stop asking for handouts. The
idea here is to increase the total pie available to the U.S. and let is be
distributed properly by free markets. You seem to think that our economy is
a zero-sum game where if one entity goes up all the others have to go down
an equal amount. This is simply not true and never has been. The Democrats
think it is zero-sum and are always trying to give handouts to the lower
income brackets. They do it to get cheap votes. They don't care about these
people at all.

Whether my ideas are accepted or not is irrelevant. The problems in our
economy will be solved one way or the other. I think it will be done through
inflation which is a way for the government to pay its bills without raising
taxes as I mentioned in my earlier messages. No fuss, no muss, no decisions
by Congress. We could become a third world country unless we get some tough
talkers like Trump to stand up and tell it like it is.
