When I suspend and open the report and preview, the darn thing runs fine.

But if I run the report from the app, I still get the error.

I even created a new report with only one text box in the detail band and
still get the error

This is very frustrating ...

Excellent tip! You're absolutely correct that this works. Just suspend code,
then from the development platform you open the report and then right-mouse
and select preview. VFP will usually show you exactly where the error is.
