Hear, hear.

I worked in an office where one of the clerks ran our apps at 640 x
480 on a 17" monitor, and used a large magnifying glass to read the
screen. Her vision was nearly gone, but she needed the job, and she
was a beloved and hard-working member of the staff. Watching her work
reminded me that we're all "abled" for only a brief period of time,
and that might be over any minute. Accommodating the needs of our
users is our job.

Foxpro is tough to scale, especially on complex and densely-laid-out
pages. Our last few FoxPro projects were spec'ed at a minimum
resolution of 800x600, and if we were creating new ones at this point,
they'd likely be 1024x768. The cheapest solution is likely suggesting
a larger monitor.Good quality 23" monitors are available around $200.

Accessibility is a right, not a privilege. And while it may be
unusual, it's not "abnormal user behavior." It's an unusual request,
sure.

You have an accessibility issue here, and I suggest you get in touch
with the user's employer to determine how you both can best
accommodate the user. (Hint: suggest to the employer that a larger
monitor is a lot cheaper than a lot of custom programming hours.)

One of our list members here works with disabled individuals, and he
suggested you test your web pages, among other ways, by increasing the
size three or four times. If the form still works, you're good, if
not, back to the drawing board. That idea changed the way I did layout
and improved my design skills.
