Funny that I am doing this at this moment. I have a utility which I wrote for a client a few years ago that relies heavily on Excel automation. It was written for Oriface 2003. In spite of my warnings, the "upgraded" to Oriface 2007. Naturally, the application won't work at all any more.
I have them the options and costs to rebuild the automation part. As a result, they now send *me* the files and I run the utility here, and send them the resulting files. Fortunately, they only need to run it once or twice per year. Incidentally, I had to move to O-2007 for other reasons, so I created a XP VM using VirtualBox to install O-2003.
