As always, ask the question then find a solution.

MS does not allow FM20.dll to be distributed. You have to install some MS
product that includes it and will register it correctly. In their wisdom, you
can download something called the Microsoft ActiveX Control Pad (a groovy place
to visit, no doubt).

Subject: FM20.DLL problem (MS TextBox OLE control)

I have a VFP form that uses 2 instances of the above-mentioned control. This
form is in production at one of my client sites here in the US for a few years
now with no issues. Now I'm trying to deploy the same form for a different
client in Europe. I have a VFP development environment and when I tried to run
it there, I got errors about OLE controls that couldn't be found. A quick &
dirty test with a new form indicates that I can't add an OLE control from this
particular library.

OLE error code 0x8007007e: Das angegebene Modul wurde nicht gefunden.

I've tried using regsvr32 to re-register the DLL on the local system but to no
avail. Has anyone run into something like this and if so, were you able to
discover a workaround?

TIA
