I replaced the * with & and it didn't make a difference. You're right about logical expressions...it's basically saying "if true and true then SUM this range." I'm believing that because I don't specify the ELSE part of the IF, it's ok. ?? My current thought is that the syntax for determining the existence of "H" and 9 in the column range is flawed. At least that's what I'm getting when I choose the "Show calculation steps" option. -- Mike Babcock, MCP MB Software Solutions, LLC President, Chief Software Architect http://mbsoftwaresolutions.com http://fabmate.com http://twitter.com/mbabcock16 _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
