Hi Stephen,

If they are lead acid anything you put in will help. I think it would be 
cool to have them at parking meters. Say you plug in and put coins in. 
It automagically knows whether or not you are plugged in and charges you 
the proper rate. You put in the coins you need for the time and the 
charge, or swipe your plastic card, as you prefer.
